YouTube TV is the Most Popular Live TV Streaming Service With Cord Cutters

The race to be the go-to live TV streaming service for cord cutters has been heating up recently. As more Americans ditch cable TV for cheaper streaming options, everyone is fighting to be that option. ์นด์ง€๋…ธ์‚ฌ์ดํŠธ

Now according to a recent survey of 2,000 Cord Cutters News readers, YouTube TV is the clear winner, with 30.7% of readers saying they use YouTube TV. Philo had 10.5% of subscribers, and 9.6% said they used Sling TV. Fubo TV came in with 0.6% saying they used the service.

Clearly, YouTube TV is connecting with cord cutters in a way that is helping it stand out from the crowded. Yet many cord cutters are still not subscribing to a live TV streaming service.

With some services not reporting their actual subscriber numbers, its hard to estimate, but roughly 20 million Americans subscribe to a live TV streaming service like YouTube TV. The problem for TV companies is an increasing number of cord cutters are ditching their live TV streaming services for on-demand only options. ์•ˆ์ „ํ•œ์นด์ง€๋…ธ์‚ฌ์ดํŠธ

Increasingly if you are not a fan of sports, the need for a live TV service like YouTube TV is dying. As more networks put their content into their on-demand services like Disney+ and Paramount+ it raises the question of why even bother subscribing to a live TV service.

The question now is what happens in 5 or 10 years from now. Will even sports fans need a live TV service like YouTube TV, or will sports be available direct to consumers? Already MLB is talking about offering in-market streaming through a subscription service like MLB At Bat. ์นด์ง€๋…ธ์‚ฌ์ดํŠธ ์ถ”์ฒœ
